Nazare, Portugal is the place where the daring surf some of the largest waves in the world when storms bring them in. The view is beautiful from all directions, there is also a lighthouse and surf museum where there is an explanation of how the giant waves are created.

While the buildings are a little tired the vibe thought the waterfront and surrounding town is vibrant and energetic. Awesome seafood and great wine.

Wide sandy beach with clear waters. During my visit was calm and sunny. Bars, restaurants and shops on the other side offers added convenience. Sun-dried fish and seafood stalls add cultural heritage.

Wow, wow, wow! Praia da Nazaré is absolutely stunning—a wide sandy beach with breathtaking ocean views. Famous for its giant waves and surf competitions, yet also perfect for a peaceful walk along the shore. The promenade is lively, with many cafés, restaurants, and small shops. Easy access and plenty of space make it ideal for families, couples, or anyone who loves the sea.

There is nothing wrong with this beach, I just preferred Praia da Norte. Praia da Nazare was clean and on the day we visited (Saturday at the end of summer season) virtually deserted.
