It really is difficult to summarise my experience at this restaurant but I would say that this is the most romantic restaurant that my wife, of 37 years, and I have been to. Forget all the ‘Oh well we went to somewhere really expensive, paid over the odds and the food was served in a gold oyster shell” rubbish. This place is near perfection. The atmosphere is superb, low ceilings, chanson music from 20s playing, candles etc. Then moving onto the food, it is cooked to perfection and don’t get me started on the apple desert. Staff on both of our visits (yes, it was so good the first time we had to return) were amazing. Not sure of their names but the first night was a gentleman who was wearing white gloves when we arrived (who does that anymore? This man was born with style) and the second night by a young lady who moved around a busy restaurant with such grace it was a pleasure to be there. My three regrets are; that our command of Polish is poor that we could convey our gratitude to them for the excellent service, that I was not better dressed to eat here (next time I will try & wear a tuxedo) and finally that I live in the UK where I have yet to find such a wonderful place.
