Whenever I have friends visiting the town, I'll bring them here for a lunch. It is close to the main bus stop, got a large parking area, has a great vibe, Hagi city specialtiy menus, and pretty reasonable price (not for casual/everyday meal tho). It is also inside of Meirinkan, which is a former school with its Meiji school style, with a small free museum (300 yen if you want the full experience) to learn one or two things about Hagi City. Oh, also, there's a souvenir shop nearby worth visiting. It's a one stop spot for a short visit here.
