We had afternoon tea booked in Palm Court. We arrived a bit early, but this wasn't a problem. Seated upstairs with a lively view of reception and the tree. Offered tea, coffee, soft drinks till it was time for afternoon tea. I cannot praise the staff enough, they were helpful and friendly and I felt looked after the whole time I was there.

Had the best stay here. Beautiful building. The concierge team, especially Jose, truly looked out for me— even helping me with my bags to the train! Our son booked us a 2 night stay in the Balmoral for our 30th wedding anniversary and oh my what a fabulous stay we had. From the moment we arrived at the hotel the staff couldn't do enough for us. From the door porter to the all the reception crew, the way we were treated we honestly felt like we were the most important people in the hotel and we were even given a free upgrade to an executive room which was lovely. We had an amazing stay here for my partner's 30th birthday. The staff were incredible throughout the whole stay, always helpful and friendly. They arranged some additional amenities at the last minute (which was my own fault!). The food on offer was excellent, rooms tidy and the room preparation throughout the day made it even more special. A perfect location for a special occasion.
