Fantastic location, a first-floor apartment with a terrace. While the apartment itself could use a bit more refinement, minor aesthetic and technical flaws didn't spoil the overall impression. The kitchen is well-equipped. The place definitely has its charm, which is further enhanced by its location in Bergen's old quarter, full of charming pubs, art galleries, boutiques, and atmospheric bookstores and cafes.

Very quaint and pleasant to visit and stay in, our apartment didn't have heating, just a portable heater. Since these are old fishermen's houses, make sure the renovation includes heating. Overall, a nice place.

One star for the location and the charming exterior. It's a shame such an old building with such potential has been filled with such shoddily built interiors. Nails and screws are sticking out everywhere. I'm all for reusing building materials, but this hasn't even been repainted or repaired! The bathroom had no ventilation.
