Stayed for 2 nights. Hotel looks dated, it looked much better in photos and in winter. Stayed in twin room. It's tiny, only place to stow luggage is under the bed, and even the it couldn't contain all of it. Bathroom is also very small, barely enough room to move in. Not good for a tall person. No night lights in the room, only option of blinding light across the room, or just blinding light on your bed. Nice view of the outside though. Amenities are convenient though, you get a switch located right next to your pillow, and the Stoke cups in the room are a nice touch. Onsen and bath at the basement level. Male and female baths switch location depending on time of day. Bath area was small, with 1 warm pool and 1 larger cooler pool, steam room and sauna. It gets very crowded after dinnertime. There's also a lounge area where you can hang out after the bath - here they provide Popsicles and drinks for free. Very nice. Breakfast buffet is quite limited. Mostly Japanese style rice and dishes, some pastries and fruit. They had 2 specialty dishes, the seafood bowl with horseradish and smoke salmon waffle. Both were great. Additionally, the resort also provides soft serve and tea in the lobby in the afternoon which was again very awesome. Parking though is extremely limited. The resort does have an arrangement with the surrounding carparks so you get a good discount when you park there, although it's a short walk from there. Location-wise, pretty quiet but there are quite a few food options in the area, the very friendly and helpful staff are happy to point them out. There's also a map in the lobby to refer to and QR codes which provides direction. Conclusion: good family hotel amenities, although rooms are small and structure is dated. Refurbished rooms give a more modern touch.
