We were there during an unexpected airspace shutdown, and our flight was canceled for several days. Traveling with a large group under those circumstances was stressful, but the hotel staff handled everything with empathy, patience, and genuine care. They were able to extend our stay and consistently approached frustrated and stressed guests with grace and a true problem-solving mindset. That level of understanding made a huge difference for us. We spent several days by the pool and were so impressed with the staff there, especially Manuel, David, Kevin, and Yomara. They were warm, attentive, and truly made us feel welcomed and taken care of. We also attended the hotel’s New Year’s Eve party, which was an absolute highlight of our trip. The energy was fantastic, the bands were excellent, and DJ Johnny Youngrock was especially exceptional — he kept the night fun, lively, and celebratory well into the new year. The spa also went above and beyond to accommodate our large party, which was no small task. We were especially impressed with our therapist Cindy, locker room attendants and management of the spa. While there were a few minor issues during our stay, they were handled quickly and thoughtfully. Overall, what stood out most was the kindness of the staff and how supported we felt during a challenging situation. We’re very grateful for the care we received!
