I've visited the Underground River twice: first by hiking the 3.8 km trail, and a second time on the boat tour (which included lunch). If you are physically able, I highly recommend the hiking option. The walk takes about 2 hours there and 1.5 hours back on a challenging but incredibly beautiful path. While the boat ride itself is only 45 minutes each way, we endured a 2-hour wait to board. Overall, the total time commitment was similar, but the experience of trekking through the lush forest was

🦇 The Experience I had such a fun time touring this place with my friend! We both really enjoyed the experience—it’s so unique to be able to ride through a cave like that and see so many bats sleeping upside down, along with some of the biggest stalactites and stalagmites I’ve ever seen. It’s truly awe-inspiring to witness how this place has been formed over hundreds of millions of years. 👥 Staff & Audio Tour All of the staff we met were incredible, and the audio tour you listen to while inside

Your trip begins with a peaceful pump boat ride across toward the cave entrance, surrounded by limestone cliffs and lush forest.
From there, you transfer to a small paddle boat, guided by a boatman who navigates the darkness while spotlighting stunning rock formations carved over millions of years. You’ll also wear an individual audio device that explains the river’s geology, history, and unique cave features, making the journey both quiet and immersive.

Wow, that's just what I could say the views were stunning, breathtaking, and everything else. I really do recommend coming here especially that this cave is on UNESCO. There is only one thing that I could ley my eye on but I think that's to my guide, we had to wake up at 6:00 am but the boat that's sopose to pick us up like 20 min later came 2 hr later but asides that everything was astonishing.
